Porto Rotondo

In 1964, Luigi and Nicolò Donà dalle Rose laid out Porto Rotondo across 500 hectares between the Gulf of Cugnana and the Gulf of Marinella. Its marina now holds over 800 yachts. The beaches — Spiaggia Ira, Contra Ira across the bay, Punta Lepre near the Yacht Club — are exactly as fine as the setting promises.

Piazzetta San Marco carries Andrea Cascella's sculptures; Emmanuel Chapalain's mosaic marks Via del Molo. Gourmet restaurants, designer boutiques, and a Yacht Club with its own sailing calendar fill the rest of the frame.
